Portage Ontario’s Fresh Start Event 2010

11-mars-2010This year’s Fresh Start Dinner and Auction will take place on June 8th in a private garden in Rosedale, Toronto. Portage Governors, Dr. Peter and Susan Schaal, have once again offered to open their home for this intimate garden party.

The purpose of the Fresh Start event is to raise awareness and funds in support of the Portage Ontario Youth Treatment Fund.

Guests will attend a reception followed by a sit-down dinner catered by Yorkshire Pudding. There will also be live and silent auctions featuring exclusive getaways, golf packages, entertainment packages, electronics, home furnishings, jewelry, and leather fashions, to name a few.

Last year, the event and auction generated over $80,000 in net revenue. This year’s goal is to raise $75,000, which will provide an extra ten young Ontarians and their families with the opportunity to benefit from the Portage Ontario program for drug addiction rehabilitation.

For more information about the Fresh Start Event, contact Jennifer Blunt, Director of Development, Portage Ontario at 416-531-1333 or jblunt@portage.ca..
