How can you help Portage pursue its mission?

Portage is by, for, and of the community. Portage could not pursue its mission without the continuing support of generous donors in the community.

Making a donation to Portage is a concrete gesture to help those seeking Freedom from Addiction. A tax receipt will be issued for all donations of $20 or more.

The donations received by the Portage Foundation are put towards to following activities:

• Construction and renovation of facilities;
• Research, development and non-subsidised activities;
• Programs for adolescent and adult substance abusers;
• Programs for specialised clientele: Mother and Child and pregnant substance abusers program, Mentally Ill Chemical Abusers Program (MICA);
• Non-residential programs;
• Social reintegration programs;
• Family services.

Non-Monetary Giving

Portage is very grateful for the non-monetary donations it receives from the community. If you would like to donate your time or your resources as a partner or a volunteer, if you would like to provide a centre with a socio-cultural activity, if you would like to make an in-kind donation of goods or services, or if you are interested in a career at Portage, please contact the Portage centre directly.
